Birth as an American Rite of Passage: Conversations with Robbie Davis-Floyd
Robbie
Davis-Floyd has been an influential scholar in medical, ritual, and gender
studies and the anthropology of reproduction. Her current research examines
the global trends and transformations in midwifery, primarily in the United
States and Mexico. She is the FLora Stone Mather Visiting Professor/Scholar-in-Residence
in the Department of Anthropology at Case Western University. Please also see Robbie
